Day 12.

Yesterday was Day 11. I realize that I skipped it. That was the longest drive I've ever done solo.

But the bun and I arrived safe and sound, got a snack, settled in. We drove through five states and were incredibly exhausted by the time we arrived. But the rabbit is so excited -- he gets a whole room to himself! And, really, what could be better.

I went through some of my great-aunt's stash while I was down here, looking for sock wool. I found a bit of a nice ivory and a bit of a nice baby blue. Not a ton of either, but I only need scraps. Today's puff is in the ivory; yesterday's is in the old variegated orange.

Yesterday's quote: "Some of the secret joys of living are not found by rushing from point A to point B, but by inventing some imaginary letters along the way." -- Douglas Pagels

Today's quote: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” -- Winston Churchill
