The summer between my sophomore and junior years of college, I came out, the same week my sister graduated from high school. I baked some beautiful vegan rainbow cupcakes and decorated them to share my announcement. There are funny stories surrounding that, but apparently they've become something of a legend in the queer community at my college, and I thought I'd share a photo of them with you today.
After that, I set up this blog, but didn't really do anything with it. It just sat here, being witty.Finally, I put it to use when I started knitting this quilt.
I ran out my yarn half-way through knitting today's puff; as a result, I've got a half-and-half, ivory and orange-red puff.
