Day 21.

Well, that was an interesting morning.

I couldn't sleep last night because I was so anxious about getting Bramble fixed. Finally I went out and spent a good long time cuddling, and then read for a while. I dozed on and off, but didn't really sleep much after my napping.

So then it was this morning. See, I took Bramble in to get neutered. And less than an hour later, after sedating him, weighing him, and starting the basic exam, the vet came out into the lobby (we were chatting with one of the ladies who works in the office) to tell me that we had not sexed our rabbit accurately.

And that she's too young yet to get spayed.

Ah, poor baby! She came home all lethargic and sleepy and mad at me from the sedative.

Auntie Blessing of City Witch, Country Witch (my other blog!) asked if Bramble was now a Blossom instead. But Bramble is a gender-neutral name, and she's still the same spunky, piratey bunny we've always loved.

In very different news, I'm headed tonight to visit a knitting circle down here in Chattanooga! Very excited. I'll be bringing an old project that my great-aunt had started to see if I can figure out how to finish it. And I'm looking forward to meeting some new people, too! More on that when I return.
