Day 7.

Well, today was interesting. I switched yarns, and thus made all of my old puffs no longer usable. But I want the quilt in wool, not acrylic, and they just won't play together nicely.

The wool feels much different in my fingers, and it knits up a lot tighter, and the puff itself is smaller than the acrylic. But I like it.

I wasn't so sure about the colors in here, but the more I look at it, the more I appreciate the green and purple. It's actually quite a lovely combination. And those colors will show up somewhere else, too! But it's a secret for now.

So my plans changed a little. Those six little puffs you had seen before aren't disappearing -- I'll find a way to reuse them. Don't worry.

Today's thought of the day is about stress, and control, and organization. Sometimes I wonder if I would feel more successful if I felt that I was on top of everything I need to be.

"Being in control of your life and having realistic expectations about your day-to-day challenges are the keys to stress management, which is perhaps the most important ingredient to living a happy, healthy and rewarding life."
