I had a big final tonight. Everything today was focused on just getting through. I knitted today's puff while watching the pilot episode of Firefly, as a study break. If you haven't seen it, it's an amazing series -- all eleven episodes. I'm a big geeky Joss Whedon fan. It's true. Anyway, my girlfriend had not yet seen it, and I told her she needed to see it at some point. So apparently that point was this afternoon.I'm expecting some new yarn -- and my parents -- tomorrow afternoon. So tomorrow's puff may be a completely new color!
The puff picture shows my coffee cup -- my girl was waiting outside the door of my exam with that and some delicious pistachio rosewater cookies when I finished it up. How sweet, right!
I'm not really sure how I found today's thought, who who Marilyn Moats Kennedy actually is. But I like the quote in any case: "It's not how much you do, it's how often you do it. It simply doesn't matter if you make some monumental effort at any given time. You have it in your to give that extra little bit. You know that you could add that finishing touch. You know you can take that extra step."
